Sunday School – 9:00 – 9:45 am
A time of discussion and sharing openly about the Bible, asking questions, and receiving instruction in the Word of God. Currently, we are doing a study on the Book of Revelation.
For Middle Schoolers…
A time of sharing and prayer, as well as delving into tough topics relevant to the issues facing young people today.
A time of singing and prayer, along with a Bible lesson presented in an understandable and engaging way.
Sunday Worship Service – 10 – 11 am
A time centered on the gospel through…
Worship in Song – a blend of hymns, choruses and contemporary Christian music.
Worship in Prayer – openly sharing praises and prayer requests.
Worship in the Word – expository preaching, delivered in an engaging and practical way, where we learn to grow closer to Jesus Christ in spiritual maturity. Currently, we are going through the Book of Acts and getting a picture of what the Church, Christ’s Body, should look like.
Wednesday evenings provide an opportunity to gather for prayer and Bible study. This is an informal time where we can dialogue freely about matters of faith and life, as well as pray for one another.
For 2 months out of the year, our church sends people to work at N.I.C.E. (Neighbors in Christ Ecumenical). N.I.C.E. is a local food pantry that provides food supplies, clothing, household goods, toys, school supplies, and many other things to needy families in Lee County.
Each month we support the Shabonna Nursing Home by having a worship service there.
